The Auwirt in Aurach / Kitzbuehel is a hotel - pension  and restaurant with roots reaching back to 1834, with the atmosphere of the Tyrolean restaurant culture of yore.
Gasthof Auwirt is a privately owned pension, which has been family-run for
3 generations. From the first moment you will feel the traditional values: hospitality, warmth, comfortableness and a always friendly service. The Auwirt does not only offer traditional charm, but it also offers every conceivable amenity the guest may expect.
 
 

Our rooms and apartments have been re-furnished and each single room got its own and particular charm. With loving care the style of a traditional Tyrolean country house has been preserved.
 


As our guest we want to pamper you particularly with our "Tyrolean Schmankerln", made from the freshest local products and served in the traditional  restaurant.

Restaurateurs with a passion

For many years, Rino and Margit Koenig pamper their guests warmly. The Owner hostess rules personally over the stove in the kitchen and prefers to cook, using recipes from the cookbooks of her mother and grandmother.
Her husband Rino looks after the guests in the restaurant where the old Tyrolean restaurant culture comes alive, especially when there are musicians.
